1. Scope of this policy

This policy covers information collected through wjllaw.shop (pages visited, form submissions, correspondence) and information received during the ordinary course of our shift-board services: pest control, janitorial, grounds & tree care, fabric cleaning and exterior work. It does not govern third-party websites we link to, and it supplements — never replaces — confidentiality duties in service agreements.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Information you give us

• Contact details: name, company or property, email address and phone number sent through the booking form or email.
• Property details: service addresses, site conditions, scheduling preferences and anything else you write to us.
• Engagement information: once a scope is signed, information reasonably required to perform — site notes, service logs, access arrangements communicated by phone, and billing details handled at the office.

2.2 Information collected automatically

• Server logs: IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps, collected by our hosting provider for security and delivery.
• No tracking pixels: we do not run advertising pixels or cross-site trackers on this website.

2.3 Information we do not want

Do not send gate codes, alarm codes, key arrangements, payment card numbers or other sensitive access or financial data through website forms or ordinary email. Access instructions are exchanged by phone with the office only.

3. How we use information

• Responding to inquiries and dispatching the right shift.
• Preparing written scopes, schedules and service agreements.
• Performing contracted services: site visits, treatment logs, snow dispatch and walk-through records.
• Meeting legal, licensing, chemical-application and record-keeping obligations under Ohio and federal law.
• Protecting customers, properties and the company from fraud and impersonation, and enforcing our terms.

4. Legal bases & consent

We process personal information to respond to requests you initiate, to perform contracts you enter with us, to comply with legal duties (pesticide-application records, tax, licensing), and for legitimate interests in running a secure, professional operation. Where consent is the basis you may withdraw it by contacting us; withdrawal does not affect prior processing.

5. Disclosure of information

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with:

• Service providers hosting, email and record systems under confidentiality obligations;
• Crew and vendors — only the site details needed to perform a signed scope;
• Regulators and courts where the law requires, including applicator-record obligations;
• Successors if the business is reorganized or sold, subject to the same confidentiality.

6. Confidentiality of site records

Site notes, access arrangements, service logs and treatment records are confidential business records. Access is limited to personnel who need it for the engagement. We do not discuss a customer's property with third parties without authorization or lawful compulsion.

7. Security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards: restricted access to site records, encryption in transit for hosted services, and phone verification before acting on any change to access or billing instructions. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your information we will notify you as the law requires.

8. Retention

• Website inquiries: retained while correspondence is active, then archived or deleted within 24 months unless an engagement follows.
• Service records: retained for the period required by Ohio law and our record-keeping schedule — typically at least the applicable statute-of-limitations period.
• Application logs: pesticide and treatment records are kept for the period required by applicable rules.

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, and may object to certain processing. We will honor requests as the law permits — noting that signed agreements and legal-retention duties may limit deletion. Email info.ines.duarte@wjllaw.shop with the subject "Privacy Request."

10. Children

Our services are for adults, households and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Impersonation & payment-fraud warning

We will never email you unexpected invoices, new payment instructions or requests for card numbers or access codes. If you receive such a message claiming to be from WJL, verify by phone at +1 (775) 414-5612 before acting — using a number you already know, not one from the suspicious message.
